So many choices for breakfast: fresh fruit, croissants, toast, and cereals. First-rate service from the extremely friendly, excellent staff members.

Greatly enjoyed the place, had a such great stay for 4 nights over a nice long weekend with my wife and friends. The location was magnificent, walk from a cathedral and a university campus. Easily reached Taperia Miudino, located at a walking distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there.

Pleasant accommodation with magnificent setting right by the medieval center, the center of town, and the cathedral in the centre of town. Great and sensational breakfast with local products, incredible workers.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the superior double room itself was decent sized and attractively furnished. The location seemed great and lovely to the monuments in Santiago de Compostela. The staff were pleasant and offered guidance...
No issues!

the location was central, adjacent to outskirts of the old town, santiago historic center, and the garden of the costa vella and robert, xavier and all the staff. it also was at the top of the old quarter. we had absolutely superb and enjoyable breakfasts on 10 factory-made sugary pastries.

It was tastefully decorated, neat and with excellent linens. The hotel was placed in the central location to the monuments in Santiago de Compostela:)))
Well, Wi-Fi was slow.

Great staff who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is located in a convenient area, within walking distance of popular attractions and restaurants. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and a complimentary breakfast which was a nice bonus.
The parking situation was a bit inconvenient as there was no on-site parking available. We had to park in a nearby pay lot and pay extra fees.

Very quaint, hip and great staff. Comfy bed, nice bath.
Small rooms (typical for Europe though. Air conditioning didn't work well and it was hot!!!

Loved my wonderful stay on a short visit somewhere. The location was unbeatable for walking around a Roman Catholic cathedral. It was located in a comfortable enough area not far from the historic center of town, the Camino de Santiago, and a beautifully decorated and comfortable cafeteria downstairs.

My stay at Altair was flawless from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for restaurants and helping us with directions. Despite our limited Spanish, they made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel went above and beyond by arranging a last-minute welcome gift for a friend at a reasonable cost. The Galician breakfasts made from local and organic ingredients were a must-try and a great value. The mini-bar was well-stocked with complimentary mineral water, and the laundry service was efficient and inexpensive, which was a lifesaver after traveling for several days. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk from all the major sights and shopping district of Santiago. I highly recommend Altair for a flawless stay.

This is a nice hotel with lovely staff however it was by far the most expensive hotel on our trip to northern Spain and I think better value for money could possibly be found elsewhere.

Stunning view, enjoyable breakfast options with local touches, fruit and local cheeses.
